Pho Hoan Pasteur in Edmonton

Had the house special beef noodle soup (has steak, flank, tendon and tripe) and green onion cakes, it was absolutely delicious. It is pretty busy but seating times are relatively low, service is quick too. I'd definitely come here again. I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of soups, noodle soups and the like!

This was absolutely an amazing experience. My buddy and I were running some errands and felt hungry, when he suggested this restaurant. He started telling me about how good the food was, and I was sold on the idea. From the first bite until the last. This was absolutely a treat. My friend did the ordering but I got what seemed to be grilled chicken with rice and spring rolls

LOVE this place. We’ve been coming here for over 5 years now. Staff is awesome and fast. Food is consistently amazing at any location (there’s even one in Calgary) whenever we try a new pho place we get so mad at ourselves because it’s always gross lol! Nothing compares!

I threw my husband a birthday party here and the food and service was great! They were even kind enough to make him a handmade cake in the back. Best pho in the city!

My husband and I frequent this restaurant - almost weekly. Good service, good food. The manager is incredibly friendly and greets us everytime.

One of my go to restaurants for Vietnamnese food, good atmosphere, service and food. Their pho has always been consistent and great for the price, which is my usual order. This time I had the 5 colours Vermicelli bowl, I substituted the spring roll with grilled meatball, the chicken was my favorite meat of the beef/pork/shrimp/meatball, well seasoned and not burnt. The only complaint i have is the noodles are very broken, perhaps another brand of vermicelli will provide a better overall texture and experience. I also ordered the green onion cake, it was okay, didnt really stand out much taste-wise for me personally, I did however, like the fact there wasnt too much oil, compared to other places where you can see a layer of oil glistening on top, perhaps one of the reason it was not as "puffy and crispy".

Pho is really tasty and the service is actually good- unlike most Asian restaurants which have poor service.

Wish the soup were a little warmer because once you put in some raw bean sprouts and mints leaves,it kinda cools everything down. Other than that the place is getting pricey but overall if you are craving for some good pho ,this is the place to go!

Hands down this is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, always great taste and tea that really I couldn't make myself at home. I don't know what special touch they do on that but I'll be back many times over. My hubby loves the spicy soup as well, definitely a great eat for hangover days!

I came here tonight because it was highly recommended online. They received me with a green tea that was a nice treat for start. I ordered green onion cake and it was crunch but without flavour (almost no green onion inside it... ). The steak pho and the chicken pho were delicious but the the proportion between meat and noodles is not good (too much noodles and very few meat). The costumer service was not good at all (l am not sure if they were short staffed... but hard to ask even for water and impossible receive it with a smile on their face). The final part was the bill that doesn't come to the table. You need to walk to the cashier and explain what table you were and what you were eating to see if they find it. I don't think l would go back there.

This is easily the best pho in Alberta, possibly even Canada. Every dish is spot on. It's worth the wait.

Their pho is average. Good enough. I come here cause it's close to home.

Fast friendly service. Portion size for price is amazing. When you walk into the place your engulfed with the most delicious smells that gets your appetite going. My goal to for Pho in the city if Edmonton

First thought that it was pricey compared to Toronto vietnamese restaurants but when we got the food, the portions were huge and the food was great. Owned by Vietnamese as well, not disappointed! Loved the food.

Absolutely delicious Vietnamese cuisine at this restaurant. Family owned and really authentic tasting Pho! Savoury broth and tasty meat portions in the noodle soup!

They are quick, fast and it's a cheap eat for sure. There are many locations around the city and they taste the same which is nice.

Busy place but well worth it. Food was fantastic with great prices feed a family of four reasonably. Would definitely go back.

Best place by far for Pho. I've tried multiple places around the city and have yet to find a better place then here. The broth is always perfect for the right taste and flavors. Hope they open back up soon cause it's like addiction and I'm sure a lot of us out there are itching for it haha 😂

ABSOLUTELY the best satay phó in town. Amazing broth and extra noodles are free if you ask politely. Free tea is amazing even. This is my personal go to for satay any time.Even when I went during peak hours, we got our soup within minutes, staff are polite.Green onion cakes are great as well as is the prices.

Excellent service and very well made food. They were quick to deliver the food and it was all hot, fresh, and had tasty ingredients. Would recommend to groups. Their menu contains a large selection of similar noodles but with different contents.

Fantastic soup. One of the best I had. 5 stars once they get a license. Service a bit slow as well but their Beef Pho is sooooooo good!

The food was good, bathrooms where clean as well as the dining area. I felt like the server lady could have been more friendly and nicer. We had to ask a couple times for something we ordered.

So delicious! Feel good food. I especially recommend any of their soups on a rainy or cold day. They have a lot of gluten free options. Everything tastes so amazing. You need to try this place if you haven't yet!

My go to place. Nice meals and friendly staff. My favorite go to meals are the vermicelli #40 bowl or #2 Pho. Prices did go up from last year.

I really love Pho Hoan Pasteur, the Kingsway location is my go to but I was closer to this one by chance.The meal was just as good and very similar which is great in terms of quality control. You can't have one place to different for recipes unless that was intended.The price and atmosphere were also welcoming, I wasn't rushed and the server was friendly. I couldn't be happier with this place.I will keep an eye out if a south common site opens up.

We didn't have time to cook today and I wanted to eat out anyway so we went here. It's the only place our family goes to for Vietnamese food in Edmonton. I had what I usually have which is pork with vermicelli, hubby had the beef with vermicelli while older boy had an extra large soup. It was all tasty, we had enough to eat and although outsourcing cooking is expensive in my mind, this at least was value for the expense.The place was very busy even on a Wednesday which is something I did not expect. There was only one server - a nice young girl and she was running around. There should be more help as just one busy server isn't enough. We did have to wait a bit longer than I thought we should but maybe it's because I was so hungry. We have been on different days of the week and it always seems to be busy here.

One of my favorite Pho restaurants, be of usually really good but it's sometimes really oily which I don't mind but I know it can be a turn off for some people

Probably one of the better beef noodle soup places in Edmonton. Not the best in my option but it's pretty up there. It did go up in prices over the years and the extra large bowl is $16. Before I can get the large and still be quite full but now I can finish the extra large no problem. Would continue to go but probably not as often.

Good food and good service. The meat is hit and miss, sometimes good sometimes tough.

Food delicious as with all the other Hoan Pasteur. But what sticks out with this one is the incredible staff and the cleanliness
